Make your own nut milk!
Yes, nuts make amazing milk, or should we say a milk substitute. We at well... love the fact that you can make this yourself and of course that nut milk is a very healthy alternative for milk.
No chemicals, no processes just water, nuts and vanilla..or not.
1 cup of cashew nuts (soaked overnight in water)
5 cups of water (3.5 cups if you prefer a creamier consistency)
1 tsp of vanilla (optional)
A nut milk bag or any cheese cloth fabric to strain the milk
Soak your cashews overnight in water
The next day, drain the water
Add 5 cups (or 3.5) of water to your blender
Add the soaked nuts to the clean water and blend
Add 1 tee spoon of vanilla and stir
Next use your nut milk bag (or cheese cloth) to strain the milk so you are left with the fluids only.
Now enjoy your milk!
Ps. you can use any nuts you prefer. Almond milk is also a hit!
