Mickey Burns Most Valuable Player Award September 2007 CEO Advisory Council Member 2007 – 2008 Diamond Associate with Max International My name is Mickey Burns and I am from Toronto, Canada. My background is in advertising. For 16 years I wrote and produced TV commercials for some of the top American advertising agencies up here in their Canadian offices. By 1999 I had fallen out of love with my career, I was threatened by downsizing and I decided life was too short to work for somebody else. Basically, I wanted to be rich and I wanted to be free. I looked at traditional business – franchising, real estate, but Network Marketing was the only industry that was even an option for me. Meaning, I could start with zero overhead, on a credit card, work part time without jeopardizing my day job, and most importantly, over time, be able to turn my 6-figure yearly advertising income into a 6-figure MONTHLY income. And then have it continue to come in whether I retired or not! Sounded like the PERFECT business to me! I found success in Network Marketing in my first couple of years. I have been with Max International since February 1st 2007 and now have a distributor base into the thousands. This exponentially growing network of international distribution is my life long asset.
